I know this isn't much of help for a description, but maybe you could use some lyrics from the songs "Fully Alive," "All Around Me," and "I'm So Sick" by Flyleaf? I just thought it would be cool for the story, since those songs sort of, in a way, remind me of this after you read the lyrics, and it also helps if you get the story and the meanings of the songs. Okay, I'll just STFU on that rant.
