There's No Way To Fix Us - Comments

  • Thanks for all the comments. I thought I would let all future commenters know that this is a very old story for my friend and I; close to three years old. It's like that old book you have sitting on a shelf, collecting dust. As we are much older now, the grammatical portions will continue to improve (simply because we are grammar nazis ourselves) and we will try to blow off the dust and uncover a hidden treasure in near future.
    Thanks!

  • I agree with the previous commenter that you have a good thing going here. The characters are well-established and you captured a lot of the emotions brilliantly, including the post-breakup awfulness and the omg-I-love-you-so-much-forever-and-ever feeling. There are a few grammar mistakes, especially in the first few chapters, but that got better as the story went along. Overall, I really liked this! I can't wait to see what happens next. Best of luck! :)

  • It seems like you have a good idea for this story but the first chapter was honestly a little difficult to read because it was disjointed. Some of the sentences jumped from one topic to another without a transistion and the break up text came without warning. I think that a little bit of a background story to the couple would help with that.
On another note, you captured the immediate feeling that occurs after a break up pretty well. The confusion, clouded thinking, nausea, and pain is to be expected with any break up. Overall, you have a good idea with this :)
