Hm. So, I'm sorry but my comment's gonna be short :[

I just wanted to say I was shocked at just how long that guy seemed to be following that first one. I mean, I knew that Dr. Death knew what he was doing when he turned the kid, but I didn't think it was a life-plan sort of thing. Maybe an at- the-moment kind of thing. Guess not. That moment when he's like, "They're mine, all mine" kind of freaks me out because it reminds me of like some sort of mad scientist, only he's not a scientist but a vampire, and it's obvious he has this evil master plan that he's been looking out to enact. I fear for someone. I don't know who yet, but I'm pretty sure someone's going to get the short end of the stick in this. Poor person :/ Poor people! He's going to kill off his family! D:

And is that seriously the end of this one? I wonder how all of this will fit into installment II of III with that girl in the picture. Is she also a part of the master plan, or is she a nuisance?

I love that you explained a ton of things and sort of started setting up this world in the last chapter but at the same time you left a lot of empty spaces. The narration was great.

This is awesome. Sooo messed up and super creative. Can't wait to know what happens next ^_^ Naturally there are a ton of questions buzzing in my head but hopefully you'll answer them in the sequel? ;]

So I'm (no doubt) expecting another friend to disappear. And I also want to know how they were able to lure him to his death, too. Matt just isn't (wasn't) thinking. I mean, I don't know what I'd do if I were him, but still...don't go out by yourself trying to prove something. Let the police find them...and then kick their butts.

I'm glad to see that someone as started seeing the connections! Unreasonable disappearances should not be happening!

Ugh, spoke too soon -_____- Why did you climb out of your room, boy? Why?! It's nice and all to want to see your friend, but egh! It frustrates me that they all ended up missing because they all cared so much for each other. Tsk-tsk.

I've got to say, though, that this kid showed the most resistance. And for that, I feel like he might be my favorite right now. I mean, not only did he use common sense (until he left his room), but it took him more than one of his friends to hold him down long enough to be changed so he could 'taste' what freedom felt like.

Like someone else mentioned, I'm also expecting Dr. Death! He has to show up to gain control over his minions. It'd be really scary/interesting, though, if he couldn't control them. Then, they'd be free to roam about the way they want, and it'd be one of those things that villains like Dr.Death would have regretted doing. I don't know why I feel this way, but I do :P

It's sometimes so frustrating to read about how badly the police/detectives suck at putting two and two together. I wonder sometimes if anything like this were to happen, they wouldn't be able to help at all! Then again, when have things like this happened in real life? Still...

I admire their dedication to finding their friend after he's gone missing (still trying to learn their names :P). I'm still kind of upset with Zacky for changing Brian because Brian was going about his lovely day worrying about Zacky and his whereabouts. Turning someone into 'something' for a lack of better words is not the way to thank someone for worrying about you. Kind of makes me feel like Zacky was selfish in that regard, to just take Brian. But, I digress. That was last chapter's drama. Boo Zacky.

As soon as I read that this guy was considering to visit a place on his own (especially a place that sounds similar to the one Zacky showed Brian), I was like "NO!" This won't end well, I feel. And he left a note...hopefully he's left where he's going on that note so people will know where to go. Actually, I don't know if that's so smart anymore because I doubt that the police and others will know exactly how to combat this weird Zacky and crew, created by Dr. Death.

It's never safe to go anywhere alone, especially not in a place where druggies reside. You don't know what mess is up in that joint. Don't play that game.

Still don't appreciate the fact that Zacky's the one speaking. Ha, I think I don't like him...hm. But what is he talking about 'free' for? And the way you describe this makes it seem like, hypnotism or zombie stuff as well. Like one of those things when everyone's like, "One of us....one of us...one of us..."

Oh...Brian spoke. I guess I can't hate Zacky as much as I wanted to, because it's obvious Brian's thinking for himself now. It'd be easier to hate Zacky if he turned Brian against his will and Brian resented him for that and still didn't see things his way. But he's been turned and he also sees the light. He also feels 'free' and is willing to trap their friend. And of course, it happens.

I wonder if anyone will catch the pattern and watch over the other remaining friends before the same fate befalls them. And, I think another thing that baffles me is that I can't really figure out just what Zacky, Brian, and this kid are. For some reason, I get the vibe that they are more than just your average vampire. I don't know. Something seems darker than that. Or do I think that because this is based on A7x (sp?)
