and i know exactly what you mean. i do the same thing, but i force myself to write because then after a few hundred words, i'll think of something. but yeah, i don't think you're loosing your touch, just motivation and ideas.

when you do take a break, try this: imagine a story playing out in your mind, see the characters meeting, just like you 're reading it, but watching it in your mind, and it helps me come up with ideas:D

so if you do take a break, please don't go for too long because I love your writing!!!:D
