I love this story! Wonderful job so far. Question though. What happened to Alex? Did I miss when they broke up? Update soon please! I really like how this story is progressing. I wonder though if Pat's slight annoyance with Jack will come in between Nina and Pat

I think it's interesting that Calla being admitted to the hospital is what actually acts as a catalyst to bring Nina and Patrick together, while it was also the same situation that ended up pulling Calla and Jonny further apart from one another.

I think it was best for Calla however, to have Nina at the hospital with her because even though they hardly know each other, Nina was able to act as a mediator between Patrick and Jonny so that Calla could make her own decisions rather than have the two friends continuously fight with one another.

It's cute that Patrick really is looking out for Calla and thinks about her in a way that he would his own sisters and that Nina has been seeing him in a different light. I also thought it was funny to read the contrasts of Patrick being concerned for Calla and then attempting to smoothly ask Nina out to dinner, with attempting being the functional word.

I am curious to see how Nina decides to treat him however, because she only recently allowed herself to think of him in a different manner and hadn't been too fond of him up until that point.

I think its good they are finally moving forward in there relationship and Nina isn't judging him as much.

It's nice that we're getting more insight as to who Nina is as a person since we had only really gotten a little knowledge as to who she was in regards to her as Patrick's maid or being part of the support group for her brother.

Nina has had to make a lot of sacrifices to make sure her own brother was taken care of and she can be closed off to others but, it's obvious that she keeps the ones she cares about close to her. I think that's made more apparent by having her show up at the hospital to make sure that Calla was okay.

I also thought it was nice of Patrick to drop by Nina's place just to make sure she would have her phone and that he stayed for a while especially because Nina's brother does become excited every time he gets to see Patrick or one of the other Hawks.

It's funny how both Nina and Patrick are taking interest in the other in different matters. Patrick saw Nina in a different light when he saw her with her brother's support group and Nina saw Patrick in a different light when he was worried about Calla being in the hospital.

I can't wait to see how and if this will change how they act or interact with each other.

i like the spin off. I was wondering where Nina came from. lol I love in ur author notes u keep sayinf kaner belongs to taylor, made me laugh. great job and keep it up =)

Nina was quick to judge Pat but, I think that most people are guilty of doing that to each other on a daily basis and first impressions aren't always the best impression to judge someone on, unless you do let yourself get to know that person. I'm glad that, in the least, that Nina doesn't think that Patrick is a complete jerk.

It's nice that by having Pat take a genuine interest in how Nina was, it did open up a small connection with them so that they aren't strangers to each other.

It was cute to read that after seeing Jack and Nina on the jumbo-tron that he wanted to give Jack the opportunity to meet the rest of the team because he did remember the discussion they had along with the rest of the support group.

I hope that Nina does see Pat in a different light now though since he did make an effort to reach out to not only her but, her brother as well.

I am really curious as to how Nina and Patrick will interact with one another now, Nina doesn't seem to want any interaction with him but, she's seemed to have managed to peak his interest even if it was because a charity event that he was essentially forced to go to.

I did like the little cameo of Calla in the previous update but, it does make me wonder how she had gotten involved with the support group in the first place.

It is nice to read about Nina being more caring and affectionate when she's just with her brother than the usual cold-ness she has about her while attending the support group as well as wanting to be distant from Patrick since she's his maid.

But, I'll be happy to see how they interact since Nina doesn't seem like the type to let anyone walk over her even if they are a big name, hockey player.

Nina seems kind of stand off-ish but, I assume that is because the only perspective of her that we've seen has been more work related than personal relationships. It's obvious that she's not a fan of Patrick not only based on the fact that she's cleaning his bachelor pad on a regular basis but, also from her brief encounter with him.

It'll be interesting to see the contrast in her behavior when it is just her brother and her spending time together rather than Nina working. I could imagine why she's also upset by members of the support group simply because she is Jack's younger sister rather than having their parents present or their donations to the group.

I am curious as to how her relationship with Patrick will develop.

Sara Carver is a bitch. Geeze. I can't believe she would say something like that to Nina. Grrrrr. And I love how you put Calla into the picture with Jonny boy :)
