I was guessing that since Mikey has cancer, that Gerard is going to write the song 'Cancer' in the story, but I guess it wouldn't make much sense because that song is in the album Black Parade and they already sang songs from that album in the story...

Gerard's right to a certain extent, if Mikey gives up hope, it's guaranteed that he won't make it, but if he doesn't give up there's a chance no matter how small that he'll make it. Together, Alicia, Frank, and Gerard can show Mikey that he's got a reason to live: his brother and best friend's wedding and being best man, possibly becoming an uncle, MCR and their devoted fans, and most importantly Alicia and his family and any family he might create with Alicia. Even if Mikey looses his battle ( fingers crossed that he won't!) it won't be because he didn't put up a fight and he'll be an inspiration to his family, friends, and fans. Frank's right that Gerard needs to prepare himself for the worst. It's lok that old saying, "Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst." I guess Gerard, Frank, Alicia, and Mikey should live by that phrase. <3<3<3

ack I hate how sad this is. & yet i love it too because its real life drama that thousands of normal people have to deal with in this world. Not just some 'omgzzzz he hatez me coz Im pms-ing' crap thatt you find in a lot of fanfiction.
