This was a nice little one shot, and I liked that you called it out to be cliche in the first place, haha. That makes it way less Mary-Jane sounding, if you know what that means. I think you might want a beta to go over this for you though, you left out a lot of punctuation and you have many run on sentences. Also, some of your grammar is a little bent out of shape. Nothing a little editing wouldn't fix.

The ending shocked me. Why would he lie to her? That's leading her on...that's not what a best friend does. :/

That was so good. Goosebumps, Dear. I know how this story is, because I had the typical cliche love thing going on with my guy best friend, until he moved. This really reminds me of Jemi in so many ways. It was wonderful though, and that in itself makes it so original!

Emily....Oh my gosh, I have no words. This was just an absolutely amazing, and beautiful oneshot. And I love the header. The picture is adorable. But seriously....this was just....wow. It was beautifully written, and filled with so much sentiment and meaning. The detail was incredible, and the dialogue powerful, and prominent.

The whole situation, was heartbreaking, but in a way kind of sweet, how he tried to resolve it. Though, its too bad it wasn't something he truly meant.

I was SO bummed when I read at the bottom that it was a one-shot. I was addicted, and wanted more! GAH!

But once again, it was beautifully written. Great job, Em!
