Eep, sorry this took so long to comment on. -apologises countlessly-

Ahh, so thus endeth part one. It's almost saddening to think that Alec is leaving Julia. But then again, I bet they will meet up again in some circumstance. It has to happen. -hint-

I'm guessing there's going to be a part two...?

    Ahh, demons. Yaaaay.
Rex is such a cool name for a demon. I hope we learn more of him soon enough.
I'm curious to see where this sordid dealings take them.

    I liked this chapter.
You reminded everyone through his slaughter of the captian that he wasn't just a bodyguard for the girl or a friendly stanger--he was a killer. That is what he did.

Itr seems like you're hinting a lot that there's more friendship between Julia and Alec than the latter would like to admit. I don't think there's many happy ways that that could conclude, really. Which is very cool ;)

    Yay for updates ;)

    Hello again :XD
    Quick blast of con/crit:

Several of the men grabbed me as I strode past me.
    Too many me's, I'm thinking?
Laughing Barney did so causing me to fall back into the sand.
I think this sentence needs a bit more punctuation.

You might wanna check over this chapter a bit, because sometimes you mix the tenses a little. But that's enither here nor there, plot wise.

Interesting that Alec seemed to care enough to try and find Julia, even though he acted as if he didn't. Emotional attatchment brewing, maybe?

Pirates were a nice twist. Unexpected, to say the least.

"I have a bad feeling," I mumbled. "Something bad is going to happen."

Is this foreshadowing of something that is going to happen, I wonder...

And don't feel the need to point me out, seriously ;)
Can't wait for the next update ;)

My one possible flaw with your story so far is that the chapters are a bit long for me, personally. The sotry itself is more than good, but it's hard to point out all the good bits I wanna point out when the chapter is that long and full of good things that I could comment on.

    If that makes any sense.

The cliffhanger is brilliant, but now I'm in desperate need of knowing what happens to Julia. So hopefully you'll update soon or I'm going to drive myself insane from wanting to know.
    -hint-

I love it. Why is no-one else commenting on this? Silly people...

    Sounds interesting. Very interesting.

One point--for italics and the like, instead of and, we use [ i] and
    (Without the spaces ;))

Here Is everything you'll need to know about code and stuff ;)

The first section was chilling. Loved it.

The way you only mentioned a name or two in the sections of dialogue were interesting. A little confusing, but interesting ;)

Love stories always end in pain. That's how it always ends.

    Such a perfect line. Powerful.

It was awesome. The whole thing. I'm sensing a troubled past from the Executioner?

I'm intrigued. It was great. Update soon would be much appreciated ;)
