    I love this story and think it's great but the only part that kills it for me is the whole "Gunner" part. Women can't be gunners. It's 0331 meaning Infantry. I grew up in a Marine Corps and I am married to a Marine so I know this stuff. Still your story is great but of course I would notice that lol.
