That was really, really worth reading. I don't know what else I can say that hasn't been said above, because they all pretty much nailed it.

I agree with Abi on Mikey being really violent. I couldn't imagine Mikey being that way, but the way you described it all, it really made me think of any time I ever got into a small fight with MY little brother.

I think that the opening and closing virtually describes the band as a whole, with the opening showing that the band is an in-your-face, insane, explosion of awesome, and with the closing showing
showing how closely knit together the boys are, and how they're always there for each other.

I loved it. You have written what is now one of my favorite Mikey oneshots I've seen. :)

The opening was powerful, very powerful indeed. I wouldn’t ever be able to picture Mikey as the type of guy to punch anyone, especially not Gerard. It was kind of a shock to the system to read about Mikey being so violent because I swear to God that man couldn’t even say “boo” to a fly.

Reading through Mikey cracking made my stomach and head hurt. It wasn’t pretty at all. Mikey is just so angry and Gerard’s laughing. Laughing. And then he really gets hurt because Mikey’s getting even more pissed by the second. It’s just mind-blowingly scary. Really scary.

I think what worried me the most about the opening was the fact Mikey in the end just spat on him and walked off leaving him to bleed on the floor. Mikey shouldn’t be so nasty, ever.

I love the almost guilt tripping conversation Mikey and Ray have. Ray’s trying to understand why Mikey beat up his brother and he does, kind of. But at the end of the conversation when Mikey asks how Gerard is only to find out he really[b/] hurt him, you can tell by the fact Ray utters a “happy birthday” to him that he’s guilting him and making him feel like shit about it on purpose.

The heartfelt conversation towards the end between Mikey and Gerard made me grin because they remonise about Mikey’s sixteenth birthday and Gerard finally admits that he needs help. He needs Mikey’s help.

It’s a perfect closing as it contrasts the bloody opening and shows that even though the Way brothers have plenty of downs, they also have plenty of ups. It was cute at the ending and I grinned at the last two sentences.

This is one of the best Mikey Way one shot’s I have ever read. It’s just so powerful and out of Mikey’s character. I loved reading it even if Mikey did scare me quite a bit. Amazing, just, amazing.

God, I love the detail in the introduction. It really is an energetic start to the story.

I love where you went with this. I mean, the part after the stuff you sent me, when G comes to apologize to Mikey. The flashback thinger (tehe) really represents how Mikey's feeling.

OH MY GOD, SHAMELESSLY CRYING + GOOSEBUMPS. In Love God, I love your writing. This was beautiful. Mikey Way would fucking love to read this. Give it to him one day, okay. I love it. This is beautiful. ♥ You talented girl.
