Shattered Blue - Comments

I like the latest chapter but it seems like the plot just kinda jumped out. The divorce I got and the fact that Ant's dad died but who the heck is Daniel? Haha. I mean I know that he's Ant's cousin and Joe was in love with him but he just kinda popped out in one chapter. I don't get their motives or the way time is passing either. They acted like a lot of time had passed and there seems to be a depth to how Joe and Ant feel for each other that I don't get, especially since he pretty much JUST remembered who she is, right?

*Your characters. Wow. I hate mornings.

So let's see.

Original idea? Check.
Beautiful writing? Check.
Proper spelling/grammar? Check.
Intriguing story? Triple check.

I don't think this ever happens.

But seriously, I've just read the first chapter and I love love love this. Super excited to read more. You're characters are just so real and full of life. I seriously LOVE this.

Isn't Daniel the one that died? You mentioned him. But I thought he was ... Ant's...father?
Okay I'm confused. *goes back to read...then decides to do it later*

I really enjoyed reading this (in the car..) and I think it's amazing so keep it coming! The sweets, yum. I quoted this today. (Not really, just the "sweet tooth" thing.) I had so much ice-cream man. I ordered food and the sundae came first so. :3 My friend took it out of my hand. (Almost massacred her..)

Possibly this has been said before, but Joe reminds me of Jo from Little Women (for more reasons then the obvious).

I liked the latest installment very much- I'm practically drooling at the thought of aniseed, and I am very intrigued by this mysterious Daniel...?

Hmmm I don't remember there being a mention of a Daniel? Who's he? Besides the guy Joe was in love with and Lisa's boyfriend and apparently someone who puts Ant in a bad mood? Haha

This story is simply amazing.
The characters are so endearing and really fleshed out.
I like the plot-line of the story, it's so unique.
The flow seems so natural.
This is really good.

Even though in this chapter a huge hole of problems open up you somehow don't let it darken the beauty- the second to last line of They sit calmly on her windowsill as their bodies cast shards of light across her room inject hope and substantiate Joe's promise to fix everything.

I agree with Cate--I mean tunnels xD-- the layout is gorgeous and I actually, for once, looked around instead of just reading. (hey, it's your fault the writing is grabbing.) The title is unbelievably good. At least now you can relax and never feel as though I will confuse it with another story as I often tend to do.

I love this! First of all, the layout is gorgeous. Shattered Blue is such an intriguing title. It conjures up these beautiful images for me. Speaking of images, the imagery in this story is so vivid! You seriously write amazing descriptions. Your words really paint pictures. Anyway, keep up the amazing work!

Hey, Stupendous you just took the words out of my mouth!! your descriptions completely make your writing unique to other stories on this site. I have recently started following some others of yours too! I love it! If I don't comment as often as I should it is because I am taking Organic Chemistry and Physics this semester..
