The Layout:I really love the orange color you choose for the background. I think it matches that boy’s shirt wonderful and it’s very contradictory against the mood of your story. Where your story is sad, the layout is happy and I quite like that. To me it’s almost saying something along the lines of “even when something is wrong, there is hope.”
The Story: I really do adore how short these were. I normally prefer a lot of detail and medium length chapters, but I don’t exactly think it would have worked out so well if you did so. I did notice several grammar errors and I suggest you proof read. The flow of this was not very good, it read a bit choppy to me. However, that does not mean I didn’t like the story. I found it to be very sad and heartbreaking and I wanted to reach out for the boy.
