I finally got a chance to catch up on this story and decided to start from the beginning and reread it and basically did it all in one sitting. I just couldn't stop reading, it was too amazing!! I loved Finley and Willow and I just can't even explain how wonderful this story was.
Sorry for that shitty comment up above^^ It was two-AM when I wrote it and I didn't have time to write a very decent comment, so here it goes:
HOLY COW
I can't believe I havn't read this before or someone hasn't recomended it to me! This is amazing! Seriously, you write beautifully! I just love everything about this story. It was original, the characters were interesting, the plot was complicated but beautiful. I think it was simple but it spoke in depths, I felt like I was watching all of this unfold before my eyes.
Not only that but I love Fin, legitly. Can I have him?
UGH, THIS. I wish I could tell you how amazing this story is, but I'm not quite sure if there are really words for it. I don't know if I've ever wanted two characters to have a happy ending together as much as I wanted that for Finley and Willow. And I totally wasn't expecting her secret, but it made everything fall into place, and I mean, it happens. I felt like Fin, hating her for it but not really being able to hate her.
I don't know, I'm rambling, but this story is really really perfect.
So, I'm glad nobody updates this fast. When I see all those chapters, it's like, o.o I'm not going to be sleeping at night anymore. Great. XD
So, Finely? Wrap him for me. What for? For my birthday, silly! Yes. I'm aware my birthday is half a year away. Big deal. Graduation gift, then. :D
I love Willow's character. She's pretty different from most of yours. I mean, I liked Tennessee and Dolly, and Louise is one on her own, but Willow is a tough nut. She has this spirit thing, which is good because I'm glad she doesn't get by life feeling sorry for herself.
I like that she's tough but has her quiet, vulnerable almost, moments and that makes her human. I like how...philosophical she seems. I love everything she says. I never know what she really means. (Which is weird because I hate when people are like that to me. I need straightforwardness to get by.)
Finley.
Oh, Finley. Why must you be so....charmingly dickheaded? xD Seriously, this guy? He's like that bad boy with a good heart that you think is a mistake falling for but it's really not. The one that makes you happy but you know you'll get heart-broken in the end, yet there's still this hope you might change him for the better.
I feel like when he loves, he loves hard and forever. I do hope she doesn't break his heart haah. No Harper Summer repeat, please. That was just too sad.
So. I'm going to go get the rest of my business done and hopefully, by the time I finish reading this awesome piece, I'll leave an awesome comment for this AWESOME STORY. <3
ps: I cannot wait for your next piece! :)
pps: OH SHIT. The net cut and I thought I lost this comment! I didn't copy so I was this close to cussing so passionately a nun would die--Thank God for the back button. I love you Google Chrome.
Awwww! That was pretty adorable. The fight scene was interesting, because he never really found out that she quit trying to make him fall for her in the very next recording but at the same time he forgave her. I love the quotes you put at the ends of each chapter. Um...what else...ah! I was really happy that finally there's a story about a girl who got an abortion as opposed to most stories which involve single mothers.
I loved this story and I'll definitely be coming back to reread it :)
Yes!!!! You have no idea how excited I was when I saw this story had like 3 new chapters. I was rereading it last night, lol. Awww, poor Willow! Though I love Fin's jealousy and how much he loves her and I hate his dad. 2 weeks together, huh? Muahahahaha, I smell epicness! And I'm looking forward to hearing about Teddy and Willow's secret. Does it have something to donwith her parent's death? Wait...no, they died when she was 8. Anyway, looking forward to more updates :)
Argh! A couple things I forgot: in the chapter where they play hooky, Fin nods in response to something and Willow responds to his nod. I would account this to her being able to read his mind except in the first or second chapter Fin nods and then realizes that she won't be able to see him so he answers the question. And the other thing was how much I love the fact that willow can read his mind :)
Willow is just plain awesome. Strong, capable, doesn't give a crap about others, it's just fantastic. A welcome break from the usual female leads. I'd be really interested to know what Willow thought when Fin said he was sleeping with whoever that girl was and if he's still sleeping with her because even though he said he was, it doesn't seem like it any more. And I loved the part when Willow fell asleep talking about Teddy and had that smile on herface as if she was getting payback for Fin sleeping with that other girl. Even if that wasn't the point, it was hilarious and awesome that he thought that's what she was doing.
