I do enjoy how dark this is. Things on this site can get to bubbly and happy, but having something depressing and shocking is a good wake up call.

But you should really space out your paragraphs more, it's easier to read.
The layout fits the story nicely.
Your writing is great too, the way you described the death and everything, perfect.
