This is amazing! Early American history is one of my favorite things to study, what has surprised me about this year having to take Civics is how much I actually like my Civics class, I've always loved movies like National Treasure and I used to watch the show Liberty Kids when I was little. I just never really paid attention to how much I actually liked stuff like that. Maybe it was the fact that government in 5 grade was so boring. I love Civics and early American history.

I realized that I commented for the first and second chapter before, so this is going to be for the third chapter.

I am still in love with this story.

“Mary, why were you by the fort’s door, and talking to Thomas Heath of all people?”
This line was probably the most interesting in the third chapter. It made me wonder why her mother does not like Thomas. It has made it more exciting to me to discover more about Thomas.

I love the deep thoughts that runs through Mary's mind. It makes me think of how it would be to be living in her time. I really love it. And it seems that I am not subscribed to this story, and I thought I was, so you have yourself another subscriber.

This story is one of the first I’ve read that describes a setting so calmly. The earthy tone really shines through. I love how it’s so different from Neuropathy. You really have a nice range of writing styles. Very nice, but also a little… melancholy?

I was looking for something to read, and I remembered how long it had been since I'd last read something of yours, so I decided to come have a look, and I'm so glad I did. :D This story is great! Really. With stories like these, they can sometimes be very boring, or very inaccurate, but you've balanced it very well.

I'm definitely subscribing! I want to see more. :D

So I commented on this before.

    Basically:

You're really managing to keep up the century that this takes place in. It makes it easy to follow.

I still love the layout and the banner makes me smile.

And I like this budding romance, it's super cute. :)

I do have to say that I have not once read a historical fiction on this site. It is quite refreshing to see something set in the original 13 colonies. The language in this story is appropriate for the time period, and I applaud you for it. Not many stories I find, not on here per say, don't follow the language of the time period.

I love Mary. You have made her so real, along with Thomas, and have made them come alive. This story is amazing.

I love early American history. It was my favorite era of history that was covered.
Historical fiction is also one of my favorite genres of literature, but I never can seem to come across a good author let alone a story on mibba.
I'm really looking forward to where you take this story, anything is possible with this type of original story. I hope you decide to stick with it past these few chapters.

Can't wait for the next one!

    That was so good.
I really love how you've managed to keep up the roles in the historical fiction.
You don't have anyone swearing, or girls' that have rights.
Not that I would like to live like that.

    Lovely <3 Subs.

There’s so much they’re missing, staying here all the time. Don’t they want to know what’s just beyond this prison?

I really do like this way of thinking. :)
    <3

And I love the name Thomas. Oh lordy, do I.<3 (:

These updates are so lovely. I love how smart-assical they are towards one another aha. I said love a lot, but oh well, I'm glad I was persistant! :D

This is actually very interesting. You're a very talented writer as well. You're descriptive but not boring, which is a great ability to have. I shall be subscribing because I really want to know what is going to happen next.

:O I'm glad I clicked this. I've seen only a few people write these sort of stories with this kind of topic, and your definitely blew me out of the water. The way you described it is marvelous. I'm really impressed. I love the layout. And guess what? I'm subscribing to this lovely piece of work :D I'm really eager to see how you write this out! Keep it up<3

    Oh.
So I really like this. The layout's very pretty and the summary is a catcher. I wanted to keep going, after reading it.
I like the thought pattern in chapter one. Like a jail. Good comparison. <3

The only critisicim I can give this lovely peice is to re-check over the summary. (: Some of the words were incorrectly tensed I believe and it mangled the flow a little bit. But other than that, ohmygracious! All that detail and just that description! It was gorgeous. I like the part about the acrobatic flies, gigglys. It was so cute. <3 (:

As for the chapter itself, oh man. D: I'm like so in the zone when I read this its ridiculous, aha. I'm not crazy, I swear, your detail is just that awesome. (: <3 I felt like I was there and getting the jist of everything that was going on. I know when she was leaving the house with the tea on the fire (I think, aha) I was like, "No. D: Don't do eeet," but she did. Of course, if she didn't, I doubt there would've been a story, aha. It kind of gave me this Alice in Wonderland Vibe, aha. (: I'm rambling now. > > <3

Anyways, like I said, I love this and I really want to know what happens next. (:

I like the era it's set in.
I'm excited for the Indian attacks. Haha.
I can't give much critism, since this story has none.
But I'm intrigued for the following update to see what's to come.
    I like that Mary's sneaking around. Maybe it's a boy.... O.O
