I must say, I didn’t really like the beginning very much, not sure why, but the last line is my favorite. Again, not sure why, I just found myself reading it over and over again. What I especially like about this piece is that, I didn’t think of it as glowing rain from a sunset. I thought of fireworks, so the fact that you chose this picture and turned it into something completely different surprises me, in a good way. I like it when I’m proved wrong.
The way that you wrote it, I can see it in my head, just like the picture. Another point that I really adore is the second to last line, “it doesn’t matter that you left and took my invincibility with you.” It really leaves me wondering what happened to them.
