i stumbled across this story and decided to check it out... I read the prequel as well as what you have of this installment, and I have to say... I absolutely love it. Blake and Alex's story is so sweet. It got a bit confusing when Jack started to be put into the mix in the first installment (probably better if he was never added as a love interest at all tbh, especially considering it was just kind of let go and never fully resolved), but I loved when Alex and Blake had their moments together and then I just love them together in this installment. The only thing confusing with this installment was the time lapses, at first it seemed like it was only five months he was gone, but then when she confessed to him, she said she had been pregnant seven months... and then he was like, 'well, I've been gone nearly six months,' and so that just got a bit confusing, with showing how much time had truly passed and everything. But that would honestly be the only two confusing issues. Other than those things, I've adored what you've had of this, and I'm bummed to see that it was never finished. It's been a few years since you've updated, so it may be a lost cause to request you finish it, but I just wanted to leave this comment to let you know that people like me are still stumbling across this, and if you ever do find the inspiration to finish it, I will be here to read. I think this story deserves an ending, even if it's just a final chapter wrap up or something. Considering where you left off, I guess it's not as cliffhanger-y as it could have been, but I can tell you weren't finished and probably had more in store for this. So if you ever do choose to continue, I will be here. Maybe this comment will inspire you, maybe not. But I just wanted to leave some feedback. I think this is a great series and even though there were a few confusing parts, I think you're a really great writer and just wanted to let you know that. If you never do continue with this, great job with what you had of it. I really enjoyed it.
haha shes bitchin. alex should secretly follow emily back to her house.
haha, and you asked for our opinion on dirty work? --dissapointment. i got the pre-order, and i was so excited. but. just. ugh. eeehhhhh. there hasnt been one song that i've fallen in love with. theyre not the same anymore. I mean, i still bought the album and tell people that they're amazing, but thats only because they've been my favorite band and deep down im hoping that they'll realize 3/4 of the fanbase prefers music like running from lions as opposed to like, guts. if i wanted to listen to pop, id go bust out some boys like girls or allstar weekend. and the way he sings has changed too i think. idk. maybe its just me. go compare just the way im not, to noel. everything back then just sounded, raw. and talented. the guitar. the lyrics. they mean something. and frankly, THATS what we fell in love with. aha yeah so in conclusion, if dirtywork was atl's first album? they wouldnt be my favorite band. not even close.
