I liked this story a lot. I really enjoyed reading it. I love a great plot with strong characters... this has all of that. This was definitely one of the best stories I've read here. Good work!

I'm actually surprised this doesn't have more comments, because the plot of it is quite good, and it was written exceptionally well.
I enjoyed it, it gave you the feel of what she didn't have and what Zacky had, that she always wanted. It was something that I haven't seen a lot, so it was new to me for the most part.
I liked the straight forward-ness of it and how it gets down to the point. I've never been one for over descriptive writing, it just bores me, but this kept my attention and you didn't describe every nick and cranny in the story, so that made it enjoyable to read and it didn't bore the reader.
The way the father and mother were, is something like I have. So I could relate to it. And that definitely made it more realistic, because it is something that commonly happens. I really did like this, it was written good, the dialogue was good, it wasn't awkward and the words flowed nicely.
Overall, it was exceptionally well done. :)
