Frank's urgency to catch the flight to California is about exactly how I would react in a situation such as the one you're writing about. The idea of Mikey's arms being wrapped around Frankie in such a comforting and urgent embrace was sweet. I smiled a little bit before I remembered why they were hugging. Haha.

I would watch your punctuation and sometimes lack-there-of. There are some instances where there should be apostrophe's and commas and there aren't. It's also the other way around.
"Lets get a car, and go and sort this all out OK?" he said, taking a deep breath.
Take the above sentence as an example. The word "Lets" in the form you used it is a conjunction of "let" and "us". So you would have to put an apostrophe between the t and the s to make it a correct statement. Also, after the word "car" the comma you placed there isn't necessary. However, there SHOULD be one before the word, "OK". Just to help you out, in case you missed it or didn't know.
It's so serious and sad and sentimental. And yet, so adorable... The way Frank and Mikey are interacting is just precious. ...YAY, it isn't Gerard! Happiness!

Just because it's short, doesn't make this chapter awful. I actually quite loved it. It was just dramatic enough to set something much more intense up. I love this story. I look forward to the next update. :)July 20th, 2011 at 11:17pm
