This is...amazing.

It's so thought-provoking. I love that. The wording is pretty much flawless and it had me in almost a trance. It made me wonder what the thing was that was talking and at the end I totally understood and it made the whole thing make sense. I love how you delved into something like that and wrote an entire story where a rumor was...well, I can't say personified because cancer isn't a person, but...transmogrified, I guess. Turned from one thing into another. I don't know, my words are failing me. XD Anyway, this was a stunning oneshot and I know it's oversaid and overdone but I honestly cannot believe there are not any comments on this. The only explanation I could even think about is that people saw it didn't have girls banging band members and turned back which is a real shame because stuff like this drives me wild. It's almost like stream of consciousness, which I adore. You keep writing like this and you have my respect. :)
