This touched me to the point I had to read it five more times after I was finished. I felt for the girl who was the main character in this, as well as the young man. It was sad and I couldn't really put my finger on it to be honest. I felt more connected to the girl because we've all felt like that before, unconnected with reality and your descriptions and metaphors were beautiful and emotional.

"She’s always been flighty. Anxious. She has avoidance down to a science. She is folding and re-folding everything in her suitcase. Hands like angels and bird wings."— This and the ending was my favorite part, I want to be optimistic, but I felt no matter what there was no hope for her, even when I really wanted there to be.

Good job on this, I know this is a drabble, but I want to subscribe anyway because I loved it that much and I want to reread it again.
