I was kind of sad when I first started reading cuz you talked about Haley having eyes like Jimmy & it just broke my heart, cuz in a way, I bet it'd be really hard to always look at her and be reminded of his absence.
I think it's great how you added that to the story, though, cuz I interpreted it as the sort of balance between happy endings & sad endings and how sometimes things don't work out the way we want them to. Although, there was definitely an element of hope to this, which made me happy, because ya know how they say there's always a silver lining.
In this case, Grace thought everything was fucked after losing two people she really cared about, but then she got her happy ending after all.
Which was fucking adorable!
I actually wanted to cry with joy cuz it was just so sweet and wonderful.
Straight up, this is one of the best stories ever, not because it's about me or anything, but because all the elements were put together so perfectly.
Definitely the kind of story that makes you want to believe in fairytales. :]
So yes, excellent job, my dear!
