I'd just like to point out, that it didn't say that Damon died, and he was distracted by Isobel, thank you for all your helpful comments, and I realize I do make a lot of grammar mistakes.

I enjoyed this. I thought it was alot different to alot of the other oneshots.
It was interesting in a good way. I really like how you incorporated the quote in the oneshot.

I would just like to say that you can kill a vampire - in The Vampire Diaries - by ripping off their head. This is shown in the last episode: Rose. *spoiler* Elijah rips off, well really more hits off, the other vampire guy's head. He then crumples to the floor. And by the way his vampire friend started crying I would say he did indeed die.
Just putting that out there since I felt like this was a really well written, detailed story.

Personally, I didn't liked how Damon died in the end and how he seemed... defenseless against Alaric. It just didn't seem 'Damon' enough, as it would seem that Damon would have experience with this kind of stuff, and would have put up a hell of a fight against Alaric.
Also correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think that killing a vampire by ripping off their head - in The Vampire Diaries - would actually kill them. I thought it was the the general stake-through-the-heart.
A couple of punctuation mistakes, but otherwise than that, this one-shot wasn't too bad, so good work. :)

And I don't really mind Damon dying since I'm not fond of him since he almost killed Jeremy...
Anyway, I loved it, it was amazing and detailed and gah, awesome. :D
