I truly loved everything about this story.
"The worst thing you can do is look bad in front of a crowd of gay men." That is totally the truth. They're so judgemental.
Also, I would much rather hang out with my friends at Waffle House than at a club or a party, and I like my parties so that's saying something.
This reminds me of my Jack Barakat short story I'm writing, so if you haven't check it out. Well it more reminds me of what I'm planning the sequel to be like.
