I found it to be quite interesting. Not sappy or moody at all. I didn't see any major mistakes but, with that kind of detail and interesting narration, you could write some very good stories.

You're amazing with detail. I don't seem to like how you have the conversations scrunched together without spacing the paragraphs. In all honesty, it looks stupid and it's incorrect grammar. But I'm just saying. I liked it anyways.
