I don't think there was really any doubt that Ellie would eventually side with the Death Eaters. I mean, after she started not telling the whole truth to the Order... She had already basically picked Draco over her loyalty to the Order. But I'm really glad that Ginny was able to ammend things with Ellie. I never really liked her in the books, but I simply love your Ginny. She's sweet and not so stuffy. :]] Also, thanks for the shout out! It's nice to know one's comments are appreciated, and not all authors make sure to thank their readers.

I read all the chapters in 3 hours...while that may mean I have no life, I'd rather think it's because this story is absolutely amazing, seriously!

O.O............omh who is behind the door?
is it harry? is it ellie? is it a giant blob of peanut butter waiting to attack its first victim?
the world may never know

So I'm a new reader. I just saw the new HP movie (I know, a bit late :[[) and though I don't usually go for fanfics because they seem to all be the same, I was feeling the need for some extra HP action. So I log on here, search for Harry Potter, and find this. Based on the summary, I thought, "It looks just like all the others, but it's got full stars, so what the heck, I'll try it out."

I am so glad that I clicked on that first chapter because, man, was I blown away! From the very beginning, I was enthralled with the hint of mystery and the tug and pull chemistry between Ellie and Draco. I just couldn't stop reading, and by the time I'd reached the end, I was begging for more.

Let me also congradulate you on keeping with the original storyline JK set up (obviously with your own little flare twisted in). That is one thing that I really can't stand in fanfictions--they make up their own story line (kudos to them) but butcher the original masterpiece from which they're borrowing.

Also I love the way you have painted Draco. We tend to forget that he truly is human because Harry can't get past his prejuidices in the books. Now, obviously you can't have the main character falling in love with the world's greatest prick--that's just unethical and a very bad thing to suggest to real girls--but you didn't make him just a misunderstood, loving, sweet guy. And I love that you didn't do that because you stayed loyal to JK's true character. That makes him seem so much more real and believable because yeah, he did grow up with the belief that those who are not pure bloods are beneath him, and he was spoiled and taught things with which the main character doesn't agree. And you don't let him just drop his 16 years of this-is-how-the-world-works because he met a pretty girl who challenged him. He is human and has guilt and feelings (one major difference between him and He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named), but he also cannot allow himself to turn his back on his whole life especially when he believes it himself. I severely enjoy being able to see this side of Draco, who is afraid for not only himself, but Ellie and his family--a selfless side that Harry could never believe to be true. I believe I covered everything. Rant over.

So basically, I know what's going to happen next (I read the books, in case you couldn't tell), but I still want to read this because you're pretty much a wicked writer. And I want to know what happens with Ellie (the variable in the story to which I have no prior knowledge), so please update soon!

PS In the chapter following Ron's poisoning, you say that Ron is still unconscious, yet he is sitting in class next to Hermione as Ellie leaves Defense Against the Dark Arts. That may be more minor than you wish to correct, but I thought I'd let you know. :]]
