Ok, I was curious because being empathic + being in a school that used to be any kind of institution would be very taxing

@acharmedlifetime yes i am empathic as well as many other things. I am planing to add a chapter on that sometime soon.

The way most school systems are, they actually tend to squash the abilities out of most children. You are very lucky that didn't happen with you. It was actually the opposite for me. I was open at home but once I started going to elementary school I sort of backslided a bit. I still have my gifts but I would definitely be more developed if it hadn't been for my school.
Are you empathic as well?
