    Mmm, I really liked the other one better. This one was so serious- like there was a dark veil over the entire story. The books had that feeling too. I didn't like it. Katherine was so creepy. I much prefer the television portrayal- the beauty and style made so much sense. It simply seemed...right. Sad that Elena had to die. Poor Stefan. It was good for a shorter read, as it only took a few hours. There was more humor and light banter on Damon's part in the other stories, but I suppose it's because this one's more old-fashioned. Very book-based, I suppose. Still, there were very few grammatical errors and the little author's comments helped the plot along. It seems very detailed and complete.

    I thought damon and stefan lived in the late 17th century? and the italian renaissance is 13th century to about 1600... I love your work but the facts don't seem to be right.

    I have yet to finish reading, but I felt the need to tell you that I love the story so far, you made sure to include the descriptions from the book and keep the characters the same. :] Much better than the other's I've read that take from the show and giving Elena the nasty brown hair. >.< Great job on this story, it is truly great.

    So first of all, I love the fact that you went by the books [which are honestly WAY better than the TV show, other than the fact of getting to SEE everything happen and obsessing over Damon, lulz].     I love this story!
    It was a great ending and I really liked that Damon and Juliet got there happy ending and ended up together. But it was sad what happened to Elena and Stefan.
