I'm commenting solely based off your summary;
There are two colleges that could possibly be the setting for this; Berklee school of music in boston, or Berkeley college in NY/N
I'm assuming its the second one, however, its not known for music.
and your summary had major grammatical errors. I'm just letting you know.
I'm going to give the rest of your story the benifit of the doubt, and please don't take this comment personally, this is mere constructive criticism.
