Simpler Days - Comments

I was so frightened turning 16, I surrounded myself with my friends on my birthday and I still do all the same things. I'm the most "pure" out of my friends because I still like spending time with my family, and they go out drinking and I go "I'm going to the cinema with my Mam" they look at me weirdly. Age is but a number, it's the lesson I had to learn. I will never give up on childhood if I live to 116.

This was great.
It really made me think.
I also enjoyed that it wasn't based on a person, but the things you actually really like.
It's great to be able to write about the things you like now and when younger,

This was very well done. I loved it. It's so simple yet the meaning is so powerful. I agree with you, growing up is scary. But we all must do it. This was beautiful, though. Excellent job, dear. <3
