This was... beautiful... I can't even think of anything else to describe it.
I dunno, I guess the realization that it could have been my dad or my uncle hit me, when I read this. The whole realization that if I hadn't been praying the hardest I had ever, when I was in sixth grade that this would have been my father after two road side bombs.
I'm sorry for your loss, and this was an amazing tribute.. Really, you had me in tears. <3
