thank you! the "old friends of the band" and "girlfriend" and "girlfriend from another band" plotlines are used so much, and i wanted to see if this worked :)

Aw, this story was cute.

I think it's funny how Jack was so terrified at getting mauled, and taking the phone once Kaylee knew who he was. The dialogue in this flowed very well, and the description wasn't half-bad either. I know writing fanfiction can tend to make you write into holes of the same plot, over and over, and I'll admit that I was surprised at how original this was. Instead Jack being a boyfriend who left his girl for tour after screwing her or something, you know what I mean. And instead it was just this simple little thing left open-ended. Quite refreshing, I really did like it.
