Wow, you are such a beautiful writer!
I just started reading your stories and I'm in love. This one I can relate to a lot and so far it's my favorite. (:
    It's simple, yet really intriguing...
Honestly, I don't know what else to say, I'm kind of at a loss for words.

i love the way you set up the summary. it's just really interesting.

did you post this on the rate the story thread? i think you did. i remember the line about "if hearts were machines". it still sticks out to me so much as just being lyrical. i can picture someone singing that. jack's manequinesque, almost. it's beyond beautiful and the imagery it creates is somehow terrifying and calm at the same time.

oh yeah, you definitely posted this. i remember the ending part to about the girl with impossibly pretty eyes. i'm sorry i keep coming back to that, but i think it's important to tell you that your arrangement of words have actually stuck with me.

this is beautiful. when i read the sugar/salt thing i think of diabetes. i could be completely off, but that's what i think of and i like it because it's unusual for someone to write about. you paint words beautifully.

Part of me is confused, but that may be the incoherent part of my brain because it's kind of overpowering everything else. But the writing in this--the actual writing is beautiful. Your word choice, and your tone is fantastic and I'm kind of jealous of it. The topic of the story while not necessarily different is written in such a way that it feels brand new and fantastic. I love the way you described drugs as 'salt and sugar', I think that may have to be my favorite bit--but I think my ultimate favorite was the repetition of 'this is not what you/I signed up for'.
