Can I just go ahead, before I say anything else, and say that this was the cutest thing in the world? Because it was. IT WAS THE CUTEST THING IN THE WORLD. Ugh. I just love everything about it. I love the summer and the hostility and the school year and the shyness. I loved when she came to his house to help him with his paper and he smiled at her, I was just like, "UGH. HE LIKES IT WHEN SHE SAYS HIS NAME." I love the connection to "Gift of the Magi" and everything else. I just can't tell you how much I love this.
I loved the way everything flowed, so well. The dialogue was great, descriptions were fantastic. I especially liked this part, when she was talking about Garrett.
In the constantly-breaking-out-stupid-like-a-puppy-stick-skinny-and-really-short kind of way. It made me laugh; just like the short description of Pat after their first show. Speaking of that! I loved that you incorporated their very first show into it! It was fantastic. Everything... ugh asdksgns I must stop gushing. You are a fantastic writer. Fantastic!
