This made me smile :) Im glad I read it The simple little short sentences really do have a great effect for it made me feel happy and wonder about a giant list of what makes me happy. This was a really great idea, I'd love to read more xD
My friends, books, writing. The night sky. Driving at night listening to Frank Turner. My characters. Pretty songs, new socks, Harry Potter. Playing Super Mario with four certain people. Piano, my cat, other cats, tissues. Walking in the city at night when it's warm. Flowers. Having a full tank of petrol, getting paid, Borders, used books shops, op shops. Bookshelves. Learning about the universe. Feminists, acceptance, boys who look like girls. Drag queens. My family. British comedy. British television. Australian spelling. Romance, going to the cinemas, choc tops, paddle pops, chocolate. Roasting marshmallows, the beach. Your stories, the idea for this fic.
The simplicity of this was beautiful. I really liked how each little thing would put a picture in my head - so it was like a photo montage while reading it.
Brendon's chapter was my favorite. He came off as such a romantic, and it was adorable. Also, I liked how in B's, the romantic parts were mostly about boys [well, one boy in particular...] and how in Ry's, it was both boys and girls. I felt like this captured the way they are typically caricaturized [is that a word??] -- with B being hopelessly in love with Ryan, and Ryan being an artsy ho. I love that.
So, in short, you continue to be the most brilliant writer in the world and make me cry.
Aaaaaand if the Ryan in this weren't gay I would beg him to date me. This drabble style is totally great and I love the inspiration you used. It's funny how simple words can make someone feel like they know a character so well.
inspired by a question on formspring. my answer is the summary. i'm going to do these for some bandom people. just something happy, hopefully, to make you feel warm and soft.
