This was absolutely breathtaking. I mean seriously, wow, I've never seen such a cute Christmas story -- my sister actually got something similar this year, except it was on New Years that her husband came home. I knew he was coming home I just wasn't allowed to tell her so that she would be surprised. This was just the sweetest story ever, I love it and am glad you told me about it!

That was just so wonderful. I loved the way you described her position in the beginning, because the way she was laying and what she was doing, without getting into her thoughts at first, really helped me to understand how she was feeling. Really great.

I loved the ending--it was sweet and just how I would have ended it. Though I thought that if it ended without him coming home, that would have been great too.

I'll have you know that using the name Francesca means that I sit here for five minutes before I start reading just repeating the name in stupid voices and weird accents. XD It seriously took me like twice as long to read this as it should have.

That being said, I would like to add: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

My best friend's boyfriend is in the air force, and she was really down until he came home for Christmas. So, I kind of understood her pain and sorrow, because I've seen it first hand.
