That was so sad. I mean I can't get past the way she died. And then, the fact that I realized all the Owens children died before 18 was also really sad. I kind of want to cry; I was really growing attached to her.

My best friend, who happens to have to be the person above, recommended this story to my other best friend, who's still in the process of reading it, and me. I have to say this is one amazing story. Not only does it capture the true personality of Tom Riddle, but it also maintains the magical world of JK Rowling.

Im not a fan of unhappy ending, but this story changed my mind. My favorite part must be when he slapped her. So shocking! Who doesn't like a good bad boy?

I was considering making making a banner for you because that's what I do for my favorite authors.

    I love the story. Goodbye

Well I was going to make a huge amazing comment but then I read Shadow's Gates comment and she basically said everything I was going to say in a much more understandable way than I would have said hehe. Except for the ending.
I absolutely love, LOVE, when I am so shocked by an ending I have to momentarily stop reading, then go back and read it over just to make sure I read it right. This ending was completely perfect like the whole story. It made total sense because Grace couldn't have lived because she would at least keep Tom mean but not to the extent he is in the future. Or so I thoght. Im probably wrong but oh well.
Well I should stop now before I start blabering about random stuff. One last thing, I would like to say this might be my favorite story on mibba. It had everything I love in a story. Romance without being goshy or inappropriate. Plausible friendships. Relateable characters. A Harry Potter fan-fic that doesn't intervine with the wonderful world JK Rowling created. This could have actually happened to Tom Riddle just we didn't know about it. And last but not least, the characters didn't live happily ever after. I don't like happy endings for reasons unknown to myself.
Now I will seriously stop. =) have a nice day

OKAY. Sooo, I spent my whole entire day with my eyes glued to the laptop reading this story.

AH-MAZING! You're probably the first author I have probably come across who NEVER made a character break through out the whole entire damn story! I was sooo stunned and I still am!! And that pleased me soooo much, I admit.

Usually authors make their tough characters an asshole or a bitch in the beginning of the few chapters of the story and then their outer shell breaks and show that they are soft on the inside.

But YOU my friend, kept Tom cold through out the story. And I LOVED every single damn word of it!!!!!! I loved the part where, (I forgot where) they both are drinking butterbeer (I think) and Tom sets a girl's hair on fire. I think it was chapter 17, I believe.

Oh and Big Bertha, that is soooo fucking hilarious!!!!

And my most favorite line was when Grace says, "Yes my Lord." Something like that and then there's this line where it says that Tom's lips where twitching upwards after her statement. I loved that part sooooo freakin' much!

You know, I thought James would make an appearance again and would've made Tom more jealous, and I was hoping too.

BUT, I have to admit that I didn't like the ending. I thought she was going to stick by him or leave, I don't know. But I did not expect for you to throw me off like this. I was upset at the fact that she died. I wish it could've ended differently.

Have you ever thought of making a sequel? You know, where she can be reincarnated or her soul goes into another woman's body and have her reunite with Tom. Not as in a couple (Though I would love to see that happen) but have Tom already powerful after he graduates and have them meet unexpectedly.

I would really love for a sequel! But I'm still in love AND amazed at the fact that Tom never once showed an emotion as love, even though he had kissed Grace but he still was heartless and cold. You did a very swell job in that!! I applaud you for that. I wish I can say more but it's almost 5 a.m. and I'm really tired. Please consider a sequel, would you? You have amazing writing abilities and I'd like to see more of it.

Sorry if this was...long! I just had to state out my opinion. <3

Woah(: I have no idea why I didn't read this sooner... I always came across it on Mibba, but never read it. A few days ago, I started reading it & I've been obsessed to no end. Haha(:

It was really well-written, with a rather different plot. I liked that you stayed true to Tom's character the whole time; never too nice, but enough to call this a somewhat romance story(; & the ending!! I was so surprised that you'd actually had Grace DIE! I mean, hardly anyone ever has the balls to kill off their character... & it was simply because she wanted to be with the old Riddle THAT badly...

The last sentence was absolutely great. I enjoyed this story very, very much; Grace Owens seemed like a real person that Lord Voldemort just never mentioned again. & "Immortal Odd Lover"... That's fucking brilliant :D

Will you either write another Tom Riddle story or add an alternative ending?
Also do you know of any other Tom Riddle stories worth reading?

Not to keen on the end. Cut to an end that seemed rushed, but good story overall.

So, I just went through and read the entirety of 'Prickled' and I have to say that I have never-in all the years since I first read and fell in love with Harry Potter, did I ever expect to come across a story such as this. I've been an avid fan-fiction reader on Mibba, HPFF, FF.net and even AFF. Only one other story-about the Marauders, has ever come close to making it feel so completely accurate. I love Tom Riddle, and I wished that Voldemort had a heart on many occasions, that perhaps he would/could or did love someone, or at least feel something for another being. This story made me feel like I was there the whole time. It felt like J.K. Rowling herself posted this-as an insight into the past and mind of Tom Marvolo Riddle.
I eagerly await new stories from you (HPFF or not), and I'd just like to point out that you're completely brilliant as a writer, and I've no doubt as a person as well.

Thank you, for loving Tom Riddle, for writing his story-and for sharing it with us all.

I loved your story. It was deffinitly one of the best Tom Riddle stories i have ever read. And i love how you kept it believable, Tom Riddle does not turn good just because he possibly likes a girl, it just doesn't happen that way he has to turn into Lord Voldemort. Therefore, he needs to be evil. All in all one of the best stories i have ever read, even better than some of the professional's.

I think that that has to be the most beautiful ending I've ever read on this site- I mean that. Thanks for posting it.

And your style is great, as well as the grammar. And the flow. And everything else I normally critique (:
