I like the dense, elegant prose. It fits the period setting, and it definitely sets a mood and lets the reader settle in for a good, long ride.

Grammar is a bit shaky in some parts, and the dialogue could be a little more natural - I'm not saying it should be any less formal, as that fits the setting, but sometimes it seems a bit stiff and forced.

Other than that, beautifully written. I look forward to more.

Hmmm...it's very intriguing; I do appreciate the oriental scenery and details in this so far.
I can practically feel the tranquility and calm of the place as I'm reading this.
I have no idea where this story is headed, it's full of mystery but I think that's great. =)

I really liked it!

Quite enjoying it so far. The description of her surroundings particularly held my attention. I don't really have time to go into any huge depth right now, but I'm subscribing. xD
