So incredibly heartbreaking - you could truly feel Sidney's helplessness and desperation.

But even in the end, Emma was helping Sid through it all - telling him to live long and happy - and that she would be there for him when it was his time. No wonder he never really got over her.

This is heartbreakingly sad - for everyone.

It is sad that Sid finally has Emma - that he has time to spend with her and has realized the true extent of his feelings; it is sad for Emma as she is having to deal with dying at such a young age; and finally I feel sorry for Sid's wife, as it much be very difficult to always be second in her husband's affection.

It is blatantly obvious that Emma is Sid's one true love. And he has never really gotten over her leaving!

There are hints here that maybe Emma was sick. I cant help but think that while Sid is comforted in thinking about Emma, there is a real sadness - almost regret - in his reminiscing

I cant help but feel so sad for Sid - I know he has a wife and children that he loves, but it just appears Emma was the true love of his life - the one he never really got over.

After all this time, she still occupies so much of his consciousness.

The Burger King crowns were so silly and fun - it was good that they could blow off a bit of steam after such intense games. And at the time, they were probably not happy about their pictures being in the paper, but in looking back, Sid is probably glad he has the keepsake.

It is obvious how much Sid loved Emma - while Emma tried to keep Sid at a bit of an emotional distance, so that she did not hurt him.

And I understand that Sid does not want to upset his wife by brining up Emma, but what happened in Sid's room at Mario's?
