Hey, just read this and I just love it.
As for an answer, I don't really have one. I think they (still) have feelings for each other but since they're married AND in a band together AND best friends they're both too scared to do anything about it other than the occasional 'frerard' moment on stage which they can blame on 'adreneline' or say it was for the fans.

As for Gerard's answere here is what I'm thinking:

He was attracted to Frank and he thought that sex buddies would be enough. It started out as just sex with a person he trusted , felt safe with, and could talk to. Then maybe he started to develop or realize his feelings. Then he tried to tell himself it was just sex. Then when He finally admitted his feelings to himself he stopped having sex with Frank. Then maybe he was afraid of rejection from frank. Maybe he didn't know if Frank felt the same way. Or maybe he's afriad to admit he has feelings more than attraction to Frank. Maybe he's afraid to admit he's in love. He's afraid of fully giving himself and his heart to another person. He's afraid of getting hurt. Then again maybe he's never been in love before and doesn't know what he is feeling and it scares the hell out of him. That's what I think Gerard's side is.
