i totally meant that the situation was awkward LOL... i gotta be honest and say that i liked reina with whomever she was dating... it's in my nature no to hate anyone.. haha. no seriously, i just find alex's character really weak, and ryan should be more prominent. i like that pete's not stealing spotlight, also.
Pauliis: Do you mean the writing was awkward or the situation was awkward? If it's the situation then good it's supposed to be awkward and uncomfortable. If my writing or wording is awkward then that's something I need to work on.
that was a pretty awkward chapter :P i think she is nice, but i have this feeling she dresses a bit too sexy for being 18... seriously? i thought she was like 24 by now or something... weird. she must be a hell of a woman to be tempting adults... she should be more anne hathaway, less kim kardashian. if you know what i mean :D
Hey babe. Thanks for the catch. Sometimes I type chaps on my phone and I try to go back and edit the shorthand but I don't always catch stuff. That does deserve an update! I'm leaving the office so I'll do it when I get home.
Aww Raven you make me nostalgic. fobr boards will always hold a special place in my heart. Also, Reina has only had sex with 2 guys. Do you think that's a lot? She's a flirt and a heartbreaker but she doesn't really mean to be. Actually in my next author's note I'll discuss that because I want to know everyone's opinion of her.
Lol, I know you are :| it's cuz i only get wifi every couple of weeks, but lately, i've been getting lucky, lol. and it said i on my subscriptions that the story was inactive, but it changed back o___o
and also, why does Reina fuck everything ? i mean seriously. is she a nympho or something, lol ?
what happened to the reply button that let you respond to a post without putting the person's name? Typing those few extra letters is such a hardship lol.
Pauliis: I've never heard an opnion like yours before but I totally respect it and I can see where you're coming from.
Raven_k: I feel like every couple of weeks I'm welcoming you back lol. Where does it say that the story's inactive? Wonderwall is inactive because someone reported my last chapter which was an announcement that the sequel would not be posted automatically. I deleted it but I also submitted the comment that my non-story chapter was written before Dojo made that rule and it's unfair for them to threaten to delete every story that was posted before the rule was put into action that has a non-story chapter in it. If that made any sense.
there aint no offensive term... i feel really proud of who i am and where i am from. i found it pretty stupid to call eva mendes, jessica alba and jennifer lopez as latinas... they are americans. just as stupid as i found people in my country/community calling themselves spaniards or italians because they have that ancestry. they're not. unless they have double nationality, what appears in their birth certificates and passports is the nationality, not the heritage. thats why i think about being called latina is dumb... besides, us mexicans have really distinctive features: by calling someone latin/a/o you're encompassing mexicans with argentinians, chileans, peruvians (?) or venezuelans. which is not flattering in any form to any of those countries.
ok rant ended. haha. anyway, my ethnic background is mexican. my first last name is from canary islands, spain but ain't got an ounce of spaniard. if you must like, i have a weird appearance. if i were an actress, i could be like omar shariff and represent multiple nationalities or ethnicities... like eastern people ... LOL.
JaffaCakes-without revealling the rest of my plot, the answer to your question is: Yes and No. Lol sorry but once you see how things unfold I think you'll understand how the answer is both.
Pauliis, I thought Mexicans were considered to be of latin descent and therefore would be referred to as latino/a.
My former co-worker is Puerto Rican and she said that if people don't know her specific country of origin then she is fine with people referring to her as latina because it is like an umbrella that encompasses people from all of the spanish-speaking countries (ie. Mexico, Puerto Rico, Spain, and the South American countries etc.) Do you not feel that way?
I want to know because it's kind of like how some Black people insist on being called African-American etc. I want to know what the non-offensive term would be.
