Wow so Matt was kinda of an asshole back then, before he started to date Winry?
I mean him ditching his best friend so he could woo Val when he obviously promised Winry that day would be for them.
And then him kissing was enough for Winry to punch him.
I get the feeling that the reason why Winry was so hurt that Matt would leave her to be with Val is because Winry had feelings for Matt and him just forcibly kissing just broke heart.
But i adore this chapter because Winry got to have fun with Matt and she witness how two people that are completely opposite are meant for each other! X3
It seems that finally realized that he had something that was worth more than gold but because of his stupidity he lose it and she doesn't remember anything about their relationship that was perfect.

So nobody has told Winry that she was more than friends with Matt?
Right now she only thinks that she was only friends with him but I get the feeling that the more he hangs out with Matt, she'll start to find out that she met more than a friend to Matt by the way he acts toward.
And I think I understand why her father is vindictive about Winry not being around the house, it's because he doesn't want his baby girl to get hurt again.
After the accident and Matt basically just moving on without realizing that Winry still loved him and he still got together with Val.
Now her father is more protective of her because he doesn't want to see his daughter getting hurt again.
It seems that her mother wants to tell her everything but the only thing that is holding her back is Denver but at least she helped by letting Matt know where Winry was.

Well at least Matt is helping her with her memories and telling her everything to the time they first met.
Now I understand why her father didn't want Matt to be around his young daughter since he was five years older than her and they way he dressed.
And Val committed suicide? Or is that what everyone is telling her?
It's going to be a long time before she can regain her memory but at least Matt will be there help her despite her family doesn't really want him to get close to Winry again.

Me loves this story! Keep it up! I can't wait to see how Matt helps Winry regain her memory back. Kesse is a bit mean but understandable since she doesn't want her to regain her memory back because she will be depressed again. Now i wonder why she was depressed before the car crash? Was it because of Matt or something else? That character page made me wonder. haha can't wait for more
