I don't think you give yourself enough credit for your writing. I've yet to read others, but for this one I think you have the power to make people enjoy what they're reading. You also have a touch of realism that people attempt to write, but yknow. This is something most people can imagine themselves doing, or actually do, even if they don't notice it.

watching his reflection one last time, because it was about to change right in front of his eyes. This standstill moment where people look at something really hard, like, a work of art before they destroy it, a person they love standing at the airport, a pet/stuffed toy you're about to give away, etc. etc. It applies, even when changing appearance.

His face was pale and round, his lips full, his eyes a brownish-green sort of color. He had rather pink lips and some untidy black eyebrows, all under a broad forehead. All of these things would all stay the same. I really liked this because you didn't go overboard with the description, but it still paints a clear picture that isn't too flowery, and you can imagine Gerard thinking it. I don't think anyone really describes themselves all perfect, like "I have long flowing hair and full lips and rosy cheeks." Lol urgh.

No longer would he be called a ‘gothic dough-boy’ as he had during the Black Parade days. No more emo cult leader. No. Gerard’s appearance would be bright, brand new - fucking shiny even. Also, I didn't even really think about what Gerard could have been thinking when he dyed his hair red. I was just all.... WTF!! and I had an inkling he was doing it to go along with the theme of the album, but not really to shake off the previous image of him. It's enlightening xD

She did not have pallid skin, nor brownish green eyes, but her hair was bright red, and as she said ‘na na’ again, Omg i laughed so hard here

Your descriptions were very vivid, and I could just feel Gerard's determination to change his looks in the beginning. Then those hopes were crushed...

I like the second paragraph. The sentences are all quite short, decisive and they mirror Gerard's thinking. With the last sentence, I think it might be stronger if you have the last part like 'bright, brand new and fucking shiny.' To me it just seems to pack a little more punch. But I still love the sentence how it is, anyway.

I really love the way you write Mikey and Gerard's relationship. They're like proper brothers, it's really well done. And it's hilarious, oh god. Your dialogue is brilliant, it actually sounds like dialogue, which is always good xD

Should this be, 'until his brother goes to show him Rihanna's new video'?

"Gerard Way stood in front of his bathroom mirror, watching his reflection in the mirror one last time before it was about to change."
I think maybe lose the second 'mirror', only because the mirror was already mentioned in the sentence earlier and it reada a bit odd, having the word twice and so close together. (Does that make sense? :s)

as (he) took a last look.

“what’s my name?” He was horrified
This just needs a capital for the W.

Some people have been pointing out errors in time lines and whatnot- I just want to point out that it's fiction and I did take the liberty of changing certain things :)

I freaking loved this! I loved how the summary was quite sarcastic and then the story itself was just plain ridiculous! I never actually thought about that comparison until I saw that picture on your profile but now I can't look at Rhianna without thinking about Gerard! I thought this was quite funny and you did a great job at it. :D
