And I loved how I read "Goodbye, my lover." right when James Blunt sang it. That was just epic. I loved the song it was based off, but I think I loved your drabble/mini-story a bit more.
And I love how I'm saying 'loved' so much -_____- Sorry, I have a limited vocabulary- I'm blonde, blame that ;)
Anyways, your writing was brilliant and I agree with losing control. I couldn't decide if he was a jerk or died. I'm leaning towards him needing to leave. Like something forced him to. Like a disease or a guilt thing. Not quite sure. Hopefully you decided to extend this drabble/short story into a full fledged story *crosses fingers*.
Anyways, I looooooooved it. Keep up the amazing work. I'm off to see what else you've written ;)
I can't decide if he was a jerk and just left or if he died or something like that. Either way, the drabble was really well written. I love the song that this was based off of, and listening to it while reading this made it super awesome.
He’s gone, and I’m left standing here looking out at a colorful world through monochrome eyes. I really liked that line. It was almost like a breath of fresh air when I read it, ya know?
