First of all - No, you don't have to have the post secret in the layout - Sorry I didn't reply to that before you posted!
I really enjoyed this a lot. I really like the way you encompassed the meaning of the one-shot into the story - it was really well done.
I really liked how the moments that really mattered to the story were focused on just enough - too little and the story would have seemed too rushed, and any more would have dragged it out a little.
Also, I really loved your layout - very pretty!
Overall, this was a joy to read!

I think it's wonderful that you always think of the perfect moments and the perfect length of moments that tie together and make it seem like we're only seeing the things we need to see. I quite liked all the parts, but the last was my favorite. It was just so... careful, so full of regret. And Ryan didn't need to voice it, and neither did Bren <3__<3 I mean, it's still full of love, but it's different, and it doesn't make it any less heartbreaking.

I really like the "Drive safe" as a last dialogue. I've no idea why. It's not a goodbye, and it's not final, but something about it seems that way because Brendon's not coming with him.

Your stories, your "sad" stories, always make me so angry. So outraged that they don't get their happy ending. So furious that they're not together. Ah well, still a lovely story.
