Okay; I don't know why but I have to comment down why I love this story so much. I read this fic last summer and I thought it would be just one of those stories that I could read to put me to sleep then I'll just continue reading tomorrow. Of course, I was wrong. This fic made me stay up all night, no joke. I slept at 4am. This story changed my point of view in life. I love how strong Hayden is. I love this story so much I even wrote a one shot about Hayden visiting Gracie before she jumped off the cliff. I wish I could have found this fic earlier, I'm sorry. But hey! Thank you so much for writing such a beautiful story. This story will forever be one of my favorites. Thank you.

P.S- I'm sorry if this comment repeats. Mibba hates me.

    Oh my god.
    This was so lovely.
And I'm not sure if it's because I watched two really depressing movies today or just the general amazingness of your writing, but I cried.
God, I cried more than I should have.
You obviously have a real gift with storytelling.
This is probably one of my favorite John stories I've read, and that's a feat considering how many there are on this site.
Just keep doing whatever the hell it is you're doing, because it's amazing and it puts out phenomenal stories.
I don't know how else to tell you how much I've enjoyed Hayden and John's story.

Hm, it's sad how I've only been able to read it only after it's already finished, seeing the fact that you seemed to have lack interest/motivation with the story as it progressed towards its epilogue (like you have said in the author's notes). But I really like the plot though, and the intense drama throughout. It was really a nice read and somehow I hope you'll be able to continue it with a sequel of some sort. Anyway, I thank you for exerting an effort to continue the story despite the lack of motivation. And an advance merry Christmas, too. :D

Oh wow! This is amazing, seriously! I cried so much all throughout the story! You're an amazing writer, and even though I got seriously annoyed at both of them whilst I read, I love it entirely!

This was such a good epilogue. I love how you have them becoming engaged but didn't do it in a cliche way. Cliche definitely isn't Hayden and John's relationship so this was just perfect. I also love how you talked about how they need each other because even though they went through a couple tragedies I don't think anyone else would understand so they do need each other.

I don't think you could have ended that more perfectly.
I remember finding this story and what actually interested me was the story description.
Most of the time, I'm one to read those sappy, lovey-dovey stories but I found this one and i just couldn't get enough.
Like other people are saying, this was a beautifully bitter story, I think that's the right words?
And the fact that they got closure in the end just made it that much better.
Perfect ending to a perfect story.
Thank you for writing this. (:
