Okay, I tell you everyday that I absolutely love your writing and it's absolutely beautiful. :)
I love the detail that you put into it and the real paranoia that I feel behind her words.

So, I liked this piece. I really liked your use of simile, that was cool. Hm... I liked how the character was constantly in denial and was constantly paranoid and frightened. It was almost tiring to read because Evie was always fearful of everyone. I don't really have too much else to say. It was good and... Great job! :)
