This is really good. I enjoyed what you have! Jake is really sweet. I love how simple you make love sound, and your writing style really fits with the mood of the story. It really sounds like a teenager way of thinking.

It is sad that her father died in a car wreck, but maybe that paragraph would be a little better if you added some more emotion to it. She sounds like she's in denial, or emotionally detached. and I don't think that's what you meant to do. Try to put yourself into the situation and see what you feel like. then write about that.

Other than that this story is pretty good. It is defiantly romantic and I really can't wait to see what happens next. Jake is so cute
