That was so, so sweet. I literally laughed out loud at the mermaid bit. Great comedic relief. Everything about this was just perfectly endearing.

Aaaah, this was so adorable! I'm usually a bit bothered by how short a story can be, because they usually go so fast, the descriptions and dialogue. I thought the same as I was reading your story. However, the story itself made up for the speed of it. <3 So romantic. I loved it.

I had a huge grin at the end of the story and couldn't help but laugh also :-) Your words were very descriptive and flowing all the way through. The layout is absolutely beautiful also, I noticed it fitted with the story also mentioning running around the trees and having fun with Lucas.

Awwww, this was a really cute one shot. I liked your layout but the light blue font color was kind of hard to read. I only noticed one grammar mistake where you said, "I fine." instead of "I'm fine."

I liked your descriptions and how you portrayed the characters. Even though friends falling in love with each other is a cliche', I thought this was really good and it almost seemed like it wasn't friends falling in love even though it was. That makes no sense at all lol, but I really liked it.

I was too young then to understand that feeling..... that feeling causing thousands of tiny butterflies to tickle one’s stomach, that causes a person’s chest to tighten, and make frowning impossible. That feeling we call love.

I'm not entirely sure why, but the above was my favorite line. Great job on this!
