Unto the Realm of the Lord of Death - Comments

  • I recently read The Tempest by William Shakespeare and this reminded me of the play, not only because of the language, but because it captures that sort of... romantic feeling to it, of how life can avoid death.

I loved the narration, so vivid, and how the "archaic language" played perfectly with the descriptions and dialogue; it wouldn't have worked with modern English at all.

The layout, I'm not very fond of the background image, but the banner actually fits with the story.

Lastly, upon reading the writer's note, it stroke a chord. I could relate to it, given that my mom has had three miscarriages and her life has been in danger. I loved how you expressed those feelings and how you self-inserted yourself into the maiden's character to save your mother.

    It was really gorgeously written.
